Paralegal
Kaylee started in the restaurant and customer service industry when she thought she wanted to open her own restaurant one day. During that time, she took courses on food sanitation and business management and quickly learned that was not the direction she wanted to take her career. One day, Kaylee received a call asking if she could be an emergency foster to a puppy coming from a horrendous hoarding situation in Mexico. The same day Kaylee picked up the puppy, she was offered a job opportunity at a Personal Injury Law Firm. As a paralegal, Kaylee assisted multiple attorneys in case management of prelitigation and litigation matters, and processing discovery and pleadings in preparation for trial within the civil, federal, and appellate courts.
She started with Wilson & Wilson in June of 2022 as a legal assistant and was promoted to paralegal in the Deerfield office shortly after. Outside of the office, Kaylee is a mother and wife. She and her husband run a small, lucrative construction business. They enjoy going on family trips, parks, zoos, and going on walks. Kaylee also enjoys sharing her passion for baking with her children, and if there was a competition, she’d win the “Messiest Kitchen” award.
